Radium Media had the opportunity to be a part of a Netflix animated series called Cannon Busters which is finally set to release on March 1, 2019!

The music produced for the show was a combination of Funk, Jazz, Hip-Hop with a dash of Big Band. This music goes hand in hand when you explore the land of Gearbolt while we follow 2 best friends, a fugitive, and an oversized Cadillac Eldorado that transforms into a sentient, giant robot on a journey as the hippest group of travelers in action-fantasy.

“One of the more interesting Netflix animated series on the way is that of Cannon Busters and it is finally getting its long-awaited release next year.” – Forbes, Ollie Barder

This series is one of the first cultural cross-pollination being animated in Japan by the studio Satelight as well as being written and directed by a Western writer LeSean Thomas.

LeSean is an animator, character designer and storyboard artist whose credits include The Boondocks, Black Dynamite and The Legend of Korra. After launching a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014 to fund a pilot for Cannon Busters, Netflix bought 12 episodes, adapted from a 2003 comic of the same title. His most recent project is Children of Ether, streaming on Crunchyroll. The release date for Cannon Busters was announced at the 2018 Anime Expo and is scheduled to be released on March 1, 2019. To be even more prepared you can now search Cannon Busters and add the show to your list on Netflix!

Here’s a description of the 12-episode series from Netflix:

The show follows the adventures and exploits of S.A.M, a high-end friendship droid who’s joined by a quirky, discarded maintenance robot and a brash, deadly fugitive. Together, the unlikely trio embarks on an unforgettable journey in a fantastic and dangerous world in search of S.A.M’s best friend, the heir to a kingdom under siege.

The release date for Cannon Busters was announced at the 2018 Anime Expo and is scheduled to be released on March 1, 2019. To be even more prepared you can now search Cannon Busters and add the show to your list on Netflix!
